Linear Engagement
The space is limited and confined, and the bodies search for lines, looking for possibilities of engagement. The moving bodies never appear overtly as linear, but bodies are constantly engaged as line makers. The dancers share a job description of translating the space, bringing the environment into their bodies. Each dancer embodies the task and combines the six individual practices into unlimited possibilities in their own dialogical style. It does not create a form from one choreographer’s opinion or fingerprint. The signature comes from the dancer. A thread of one dancer disappears, and a new dancer appears. Two lines of dialogue leave moments of intersection.
